Tajwid is related to the way in which we read Al Quran. When someone says you recite the Quran or surah yasin sharif with proper Arabic literature then its meaning is read it with tajweed. Colour coded Tajweed helps you to understand how to study Arabic.
In madrasa and masjid, moulana and hafiz sahibs teach us this in our childhood. We saw many color coded words in the Quran and yaseen sharif pdfs. These are just to remember how to pronounce the word which I am going to discuss in the rules of tajweed.
Rules of Tajweed
These are some rules which helps you to read surah yaseen and al quran with proper pronunciation;
Ikhfa
If these some letters
ت ث ج د ذ س ش ص ض ط ظ ف ق ك
comes after ن or ً ٍ ُٗ then the word will be recite with light sound from nose.
Ikhfa Meen Saakin
When a letter ب comes after مُ it will be recited with a light sound in the nose.
Qalqal
These five letters are called qalqala.
ق ط ب ج د
When one of these letters in a word is relaxed or one of these letters appearing at the end of a sentence is decided to pause, it will have a shock sound.
Qalb
If after نُ or ً ٍ ُٗ the letter ب appears the noon saakin or tanween will be incorporated into the letter م and will be recited with gunna.
Idghaam
If after نُ or ً ٍ ُٗ there appear any of these letters it will become assimilated into the letters
ي ن م و
and will be read with gunna.
Idghaam Meem Saakin
If after a مُ there appear another مّ the two meem will become incorporated and will be read with ghunna.
Ghunna
The sound emanates from the nose and is observed on نّ and مّ.
By the help of these rules we can recite any arabic sentence and ayat without any mistake.
